Since Western Middle School is housed in the same complex as Western High School, students have fewer transitions from middle school to high school. When students enter the middle school and become a Warrior, they remain a Warrior until high school graduation. As students participate in school activities, they become familiar with the complex and all it has to offer. This reduces anxiety and allows students to focus on their personal and academic growth.
Western Middle School Staff focus on students as individuals and use best practices to engage students in learning. The staff members attend professional development sessions throughout the year to improve instruction and meet the needs of each student.
